Accurate Perception & Correct Expression

Look at the bamboo, one of the strongest woods there are, yet one of the most flexible. For the Japanese, the bamboo is a symbol of inner strength and courage. When the wind comes, the bamboo bend all the way to the floor-showing great flexibility. However, it will come back up even stronger. Resisting to the wind, will just break it. 

 

By taking the challenges offered by life, you set yourself free!

Remember who you really are and that you are not

your emotions, neither your fears, nor your thoughts, but 

You are a powerful being capable of doing

what is being asked for and even more!

Life is a gym to the soul.

Take the weights, workout! Build yourself up!

 

When you identify yourself with what you are not, your levels of energy decrease leaving you drained and powerless. When you instead identify with what you truly are, and with the Universal Laws, then your energy level increases, feeling you can do anything, able to take the challenges given to you because you know that those are there just as tests not as problems...and in any case, problems are equations, and all equations have a solution! When a challenge comes to you, stop, breathe and avoid engaging in a negative flow of thoughts and emotions. Instead remember: You are not those emotions! You are not those fears, you are not those thoughts! You are a great entity of intelligence, of love and of power, and if the test is given to you it only means you are most capable of solving it. When you were in kindergarten, you were taught and test on how to make the color green by using the primary colors. In the University, don't expect the teacher to ask you about this, they'll instead will ask about calculus equations, about physics and so on, and it's OK because you've been in the classes and studied the matter. Life is like an university: in the Universe, nothing is given to you unless you are able to deal with it. And believe me, YOU ARE!

 

When your body -which is not you but yours- wants to eat and it is not possible, you are able to control it and instruct it to wait until the time and conditions are proper. Same when it wants to go to the bathroom, and same when it's tired and you've to stay up and running. Likewise, the total of your emotions are like a body-your emotional body, same for the thoughts;  you should be able to control them for if you don't it's like if you were "urinating in your pants all over the place." Emotional and Mental urination! We are usually emotionally urinating every time we struggle with a situation and complaint, every time something comes up and we resist. We are also mentally urinating when we are in front of a challenging situation and our thoughts are running away leading us to dark places of mistrust, insecurity, fear, anger and so on.

 

The law of 10/90 says that, in any situation 10% is what happens in actuality, and 90% is how we react to it. Next time you are in front of a challenge, remember the laws, remember you are not your body, emotions and thoughts, you are a powerful, intelligent, capable being; equipped with all the qualities, virtues, and emotions needed to create  the desired environment. You are ONE with Spirit, you are a great SOUL, a pure powerful being of light!

 

Law of choice: You can choose to see the situation as a threatening one, or you can chose to see it as one you are capable of going through, coming out of it safely, smoothly, victoriously. You can choose to stress out and storm out, or you can choose to relax and instead use your energy to connect with your inner strength. You can choose to see the person in front of you as a monster or a person that, like you, is doing his/her best, you can choose to remember that we all make mistakes. You can chose to fear or to trust. You can choose between light and darkness. Life is like a radio station,  so are emotions and thoughts, you can chose to connect with what is wholesome, or not. That's free will.

 

Law of directionability: A principle of energy says that "Energy follows thoughts," and "that which you think of is magnified." If you choose to think that it is a stressful situation and you are not capable of breaking through the challenge, but that the situation will break you. Then by law, not only won't you, it'll appear that the situation is worse. You will be standing on the edge of the abyss, frozen and incapable of jumping to the void. Engaging in fear, insecurity, resentment, and anger.  Instead stop, breathe, see the situation becoming smaller and smaller until it's smaller than you, and will it to disappear in front of your eyes.

 

By Knowing who you are and some of these principles, you'll be able to express it correctly and will safely break through the situation. Your actions, thoughts, words, and your decisions will be based in what is really true and not what is an illusion.

 

By knowing and identifying yourself with who you are, you will find power to move in life like a dance and in grace. And will be definitely able to take the challenge, and set yourself free. You will just step out of the abyss and find that it was just an illusion, there were magical steps waiting to hold and support you along the way. And You will BE FREE.

 

Avoid stress and frustration, move on: Once in the situation, there's nothing to do, avoid the stress by just breathing, relaxing and connecting with your inner self. If there's nothing you can do, why to resist? If the ball is not in your court, why to stress out? Relax, practice your breathing exercises, your affirmations and visualizations to gather your energy and go from it.

 

Practice Trust in the process. Everything that is given to you as a challenge or test you are most definitely capable of solving and going through. The Universe, Nature and Life is way more intelligent than all of us together. Just play, tell your self "what if there's something great behind this situation, what if I was capable of going through this?, what if it is not as difficult as I think it is?" TRUST.

 

Be flexible, it makes you stronger and humble: As time unfolds, you'll see it's better not to struggle and resist...it's better to surrender... Believe me, like the bamboo and the wind, the situation will make you stronger, more humble, and more flexible...  As a Creative Visualization Imagine the situation as the wind, and that you are the bamboo, imagine it passes over you and that you bend over without resisting, then imagine the situation completely gone as you come back up stronger and free. What you experience and learn once, you don't have to  do twice!

 

This week put these into practice with those "winds of life." Use also the following exercises:

 

Creative visualizations:

  • See yourself in the situation and see it unfolding to your best and the best of all. Once you are in the situation, there's not much you can do but be. Be with it and surrender to it. It is not as bad as it appears.

  • Imagine the situation smaller and smaller until it's smaller than you, will it to disappear in front of your eyes, substitute with an image of you triumphant after you did it.

            Breathing exercise:

  • Inhale deeply and slowly for 6 counts while you affirm: "I AM THE SOUL"

  • hold for 3 counts, as you hold your breath mentally repeat: "I'm not the struggle, the fear, the pain. I'm not the negative thoughts"

  • Exhale slowly and completely  for 6 counts while you affirm: "WITH EVERY GIVEN SITUATION I GROW STRONGER"

  • hold for 3 counts and mentally affirm: "I CAN DO IT!"

            Daily affirmation:

"Life is unfolding in the proper way.

I trust the inner process and the inner agenda of things.

I AM STRONG, I AM FULL OF INTELLIGENCE, FULL OF UNDERSTANDING, FULL OF LOVE.

I CHOOSE TO BE RELAXED AND TO LET THE WINDS OF LIFE TAKE ME TO WHERE I NEED TO GO.

Avoiding RESISTANCE and struggle I KNOW that,

EVEN WHEN IT APPEARS THAT I MAY not be able to do it,

THE UNIVERSE AND SPIRIT (GOD) CAN DO IT THROUGH ME."
